I was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, but did all my growing up in Glastonbury, Connecticut with my parents and two older brothers. Throughout school, my brothers and I were all about sports, especially football and performance martial arts. Six years later, in high school, I met my best friend, Tre, who I later realized was the reason why I traded in my football uniform for ballet tights.
Freshman year, he convinced me to try out for the drama club's production of Hairspray, where I got to play nicest kid in town, Fender. It was an experience that forever changed my life. Because of it, I decided to enroll in the musical theatre program at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Of course, the first production there was Hairspray. But that time, I got to tackle Link, my first leading role. It was then, and when I saw the school’s production of Ragtime, that I decided I wanted to go to college for this, and make it a career.
After many college auditions, I got into and later committed to The Boston Conservatory for a BFA in musical theatre. I knew right away that I made the right choice. There, I made lifelong friends and unforgettable memories. I also learned some new skills, like playing guitar and writing my own music. As I graduate, I look forward to moving to New York and pursuing musical theatre, TV, and film.
